Flightless Dragon

This was an assignment I had to do for TAFE. Seeing as how I only started learning how to use flash this year, and this animation was my second assignment, I was quite proud of myself on how it turned out.

Basically the assignment had to be a character that walked and jumped smoothly and had to run for at least 30 seconds. Mine is about 1 minute, not very long at all but covers all the set criteria.

The story starts out as a baby dragon that wants to fly and tries to but fails, falling because his little wings can't support him. The river that you see him look at is what he luckily falls into and meets a hungry crocodile. Afraid, he swims for his life. He runs out of the water and comes across a a cliff edge. A completely randomn (but neccessary for the assignment coz I needed a shape tween) black ball falls out of the sky and morphs into a corw that flies off. The baby dragon then jumps over the cliff to the other side.

Not much of a story, but hey, I passed and that's all I wanted.

This flash doesn't have a preloader so it may take a while to load. It's only 1MB so it shouldn't take too long. I don't know how to make the preloaders but when I do I will stick one on this animation. Sorry.
